Tanya Klatt is in her fifth year teaching art at Sacred Heart School. She received her Bachelors Degree in Education with three minors (Early Childhood Education, Art, and Children's Literature) and her Masters Degree in Children's Literature from Eastern Michigan University. Over the course of her career she has taught a variety of ages and stages from preschool to college level students in Michigan, California, Japan, and here in Illinois. Tanya is a working artist and is certified to teach art and ELA to grades K-8. She has taught college level composition and literature at Central Texas College (Asia Division), Grantham University, and Le Cordon Bleu. She has been involved in juried and non-juried art shows and fairs and brings her experience, knowledge, and creative spirit to the classroom.
