Music

At Sacred Heart, we believe that music is a vital part of every child's development. Our music program is designed to cultivate musical literacy across all ages and stages, enriching the educational experience for our students.

Our youngest learners delight in discovering new songs and exploring a variety of instruments in music class.  Starting in 4th grade, students have the opportunity to choose an instrument to learn as part of our performance band. We encourage students to continue their musical journey in the band from 5th through 8th grade, where they develop their skills and passion for music.

Our school band showcases its talents at a range of events, including Candles and Carols, Grandparents' Day, Pep Rallies, and Homecoming. These performances highlight the dedication and hard work of our young musicians.

With such abundant musical talent in our school, we offer numerous opportunities throughout the year for students to shine. They can showcase their abilities during the musical segment of our school art fair and participate in our highly anticipated annual talent show, where they perform for peers and parents alike.
