Football

Our Mission

The Mission of the Vader Football program is to provide an opportunity for small Catholic school students to play competitive football on a team that they can call their own. Every one of our student athletes will compete on the field, excel in the classroom and have a positive impact on their community. This program will teach our students respect, work ethic, responsibility, teamwork, and to face adversity in a demanding - but safe - environment.

Our Coaches

One of the best things Vader football has to offer is an experienced and deep coaching staff. This will ensure that our kids get plenty of one-on-one attention, driving them to reach their full potential. Our focus this year will be building foundational techniques that allow each player to grow in the game and experience football in the safest way possible. The following coaches are thrilled to work with your sons this season:

Head Coach: Billy Small [email protected]

Billy has been a member of the Sacred Heart Community for over 9 years, and a long-standing member of the Athletics committee. He co-launched and runs VikingFit (speed and training program) with Rob Levoy. He played safety at the University of Notre Dame and graduated in 2003.

Team Manager/Assistant Coach: Rob Levoy [email protected]

Rob has coached a variety of sports teams at Sacred Heart and St. Norbert and will be handling weekly communications for the season.

Assistant Coach: Dave Manna

Dave has coached Vaders football for many years and is very familiar with the league.

Assistant Coach: Randy Pomar

Randy has coached many sports with St. Norbert/Sacred Heart and has an exercise science background.

Assistant Coaches: Denny Morrissey and Chuck Montgomery

Denny and Chuck have coached Vaders football for many years and helped hundreds of Vaders learn to love the game of football. We’re lucky to have them!
