Introduction

My name is Rishi Gollerkeri (Mr. G) and I am thrilled to be joining the Sacred Heart Community for this upcoming school year. I have spent the past couple of years teaching high school social studies in both Chicago and Miami, and spend my summers as a music instructor for 8-15 year old campers in the Boston area. This year I will be working with all our students from 4th-8th grades where we will not only learn about the history and geography of the world, but will use reading, writing, art, discussions, and projects to help develop the critical thinking, intellectual, and explorational skills that will give students a greater sense of the world around them. 

 

Outside of school I enjoy cooking, cheering on my Boston sports teams, and going on walks (even in the winter!). This year I am also working on my Master's of Science in Secondary Social Studies Education at Northwestern University.
