About Me!
Hi! My name is Gretchen Brauer, and I’m the 3rd grade teacher here at Sacred Heart — and I couldn’t be more excited to begin my third year at this amazing school!
I graduated from Saint Mary’s College at Notre Dame with a B.A. in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood Education. Growing up in Catholic schools, I always knew I wanted to return to that kind of faith-filled environment — but this time as a teacher! I truly believe Catholic schools are something special, and I feel so lucky to be part of one that’s full of heart, community, and joy.
Every day, I bring lots of positivity, energy, and love into our classroom. My goal is to help my students feel excited about learning and confident in who they are — and to make school a place they can’t wait to come to each day.
I’m thrilled to be teaching 3rd grade and to be part of the Sacred Heart family. Here's to a joyful, faith-filled, and fun year ahead!

- My name is Gretchen Brauer and I am the new 3rd grade teacher! I am so excited to start my first year of teaching at this wonderful school. I recently graduated from Saint Mary's College at Notre Dame with a B.A. in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood Education. I grew up attending Catholic Schools and I can not wait to continue by being a teacher. With my background, I knew I wanted to teach in a catholic school because I think they are amazing and I hope they continue to flourish. Catholic schools provide a strong community regarding the parish and school. I look forward to bringing positivity, enthusiasm, and love every day. With my enthusiasm for teaching, I believe that this will help students want to be learners every day. I am very excited to be teaching 3rd grade and being a part of Sacred Heart's community. I look forward to a wonderful year!
