Mrs. Yakoubek's 3 Year Old Preschool Class

Hi!  My name is Debbie Yakoubek M.A.Ed.  I am a preschool teacher and Early Childhood Coordinator at Sacred Heart School.

I hold a Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education with endorsements in Social Sciences and Language Arts and a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education with an endorsement in Early Childhood Special Education.

I love to create fun intentional play spaces for children that involve as many senses as possible.

I began my teaching career teaching kindergarten at St. Martha School.  I was in that position for 7 years.  I then taught 3 year old preschool for the Morton Grove Park District for 8 years.  I came to Sacred Heart 11 years ago.  I taught 3 year old preschool for 7 years and 1st grade for 3 years.  It is my 11th year at Sacred Heart and my 16th year teaching 3 year old preschool.

Sacred Heart is a school where I can be creative in my teaching and share my faith with the children I teach.
