6th Grade Curriculum

Curriculum   

This year the 6th grade will be studying Earth and Astronomy/Space Science.   Students are provided a consumable notebook (they can write in in) for each trimester.  

Trimester 1 -  The Earth’s Surface:  Earth Structure; Minerals; Plate Tectonics; Earthquakes and Volcanoes

Trimester 2  - Astronomy and Space Science:  Earth, Moon and Sun;  Exploring Space; the Solar System; Stars, and Galaxies and the Universe

Trimester 3 -  Water and the Atmosphere:   Fresh Water, the Oceans, the Atmosphere, Weather and Climate
