Unfortunately Mother Nature is working against us this Catholic Schools Week, with potentially record-setting cold temperatures predicted late Tuesday night through Wednesday. These conditions would make prolonged exposure to the outdoors hazardous for students and staff. As a result, Sacred Heart School will cancel school as well as all evening events (JTP practice, athletic games and practices, Academic Fair) on Wednesday, Jan. 30. I am currently working on a date to reschedule Academic Fair for grades PS-5 and will let you know as soon as that date is confirmed.
Right now, weather predictions indicate that these extreme temperatures could persist into Thursday. If those predictions hold, we may need have a delay or cancel school on Thursday as well. I will be monitoring conditions and will inform you about our Thursday plans by 1:00 tomorrow (Wednesday).
