All About Me!

Welcome to Junior Kindergarten!  My name is Amy Sergesketter.  This is my first year at Sacred Heart teaching Junior Kindergarten.  I have a Bachelors in History and am currently pursuing my Masters in Early Childhood Education.  

 

I work alongside Maggie Harvey.  Ms. Harvey is a well versed teacher's assistant who has been with Sacred Heart for 3 years.   Her outgoing personality and contagious laughter brings great happiness to our classroom.  We look forward to getting to know you and your child!

 

My goal is to establish an environment for children that is safe, caring, and stimulating so that it can meet the different needs of the children and families in the community and lay the groundwork for them to be ready for kindergarten as lifelong learners and critical thinkers.   Also, I want to give children an education that equips them for a world where technology, teamwork, and leadership will be essential aspects of their lives.
