About Me

My name is Monica Robinson, and this is my first year at Sacred Heart. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and have been in education since 2012. I previously taught at Joseph E. Hill Early Childhood Center, which is part of District 65 in Evanston, and also worked within District 65 supporting special education students in grades K–3.

I’ll be teaming up with Mrs. Kristin Levoy, who also serves as our lunchroom coordinator. Together we look forward to making this a great school year. I have a special love for teaching 4-5 year olds and preparing them for kindergarten. The joy on their faces when they discover something new is priceless.

As a Catholic educator, it’s a blessing to share our faith and help each child grow with curiosity and kindness. I believe in creating a warm and welcoming classroom where students feel safe, valued, and free to explore and express their ideas. Through hands-on learning, exploration, and daily moments of prayer, I hope to inspire a love of learning and a sense of wonder that they will carry with them beyond kindergarten.

Outside of school, I’ve been married for 20 years and have two boys, ages 17 and 19, who are my biggest blessing.

I am excited to contribute to a community that values faith, growth and excellence.
