Ms. Amy Ball

Hi! My name is Amy Ball, and I have spent the past three years working in kindergarten right here in Winnetka. I am a certified yoga instructor with a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Miami University in Ohio and a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from National Louis University.

 

My teaching experience also includes serving as a Catechist at my parish for the past five years, teaching kindergarten, first, second, and fourth grades, and I will be teaching second grade again this year. Outside the classroom, my family enjoys spending time outdoors, collecting fascinating nature objects like cicada shells and feathers, and exploring creatures such as spiders, monarchs, and praying mantises. We also love staying active with sports, particularly soccer, basketball and football.

 

As a dedicated educator, I am passionate about meeting children where they're at, connecting with their interests, and bringing a calming joy to our classroom environment.
