All About Mrs. Genzoli

Rainforest Day 2024

Hello and welcome to Sacred Heart School! My name is Amanda Genzoli, and I am thrilled to introduce myself as the school's first grade teacher. This will be my third year teaching and second year teaching at Sacred Heart. Prior to coming to Sacred Heart School (and the state of Illinois), I worked with various grade levels as a substitute teacher in Northern California and ended the 2022-2023 school year teaching kindergarten. I received a bachelor's degree and teaching credential from California State University Stanislaus.

As a teacher, what I love most is creating a positive, welcoming, and engaging learning environment where students feel valued and excited about their education. My goal is to foster a love for learning while helping each child develop the skills they need to succeed both academically and personally. In our classroom, we will focus on building a strong foundation in core subjects such as reading, math, science, and social studies. However, I believe that education is more than just academics. We will also emphasize the importance of prayer, kindness, respect, and teamwork.

Building meaningful relationships with my students and their families is very important to me. I believe that communication between home and school is key to a successful year, and I am here to work closely with you to support your child’s growth and development. I encourage you to reach out with any questions, concerns, or insights you might have about the learning experience at Sacred Heart School. Thank you for entrusting me with your child’s education. I am excited about the wonderful year ahead and am committed to making it an enriching and memorable experience!
