Music

We believe that music is an integral part of development and as such, we incorporate music literacy into every age and stage at Sacred Heart.

 

Our youngest students enjoy learning songs and exploring instruments in music class while 4th grade students select an instrument to learn for our performance band.  Students are then encouraged to continue in the band in 5th through 8th grades. 

 

Our school band performs at various events including Candles and Carols, Grandparents' Day, Pep Rallies, and Homecoming.

 

With so much musical talent under one little roof, we also host opportunities throughout the year, for our students to showcase their musical talents to their peers and parents, including participation in a musical segment of our school art fair as well as signing up for an annual talent show.
