After receiving approval from the archdiocese and discussing with the principals and athletic directors of the Council II-3A, we have decided to offer two interscholastic sports this spring. We will be offering our students the opportunity to compete against our rival schools in golf and running club, which is similar to cross country. These two opportunities will also allow us to maintain the cohort structure that we have abided by the entire academic year. Sacred Heart is committed to staying united with our fellow council schools, and it was decided that these two sports are our best two options for the council as a whole at this time.
We are targeting April 12th as our first day of practice for each of these sports and then competitions will run weekly throughout late April and the entire month of May. Students will also be able to compete in both sports this spring if they choose to. More registration information will be sent in the upcoming weeks. Until then, please see the attachment to read the official release from the Council II-3A Athletic League.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to our athletic director, Liam Kirwan, at email@example.com

After long discussions between Sacred Heart, St. Norbert, and St. Mary's of Lake Forest, we have agreed to merge programs. We are very excited about this new partnership with St. Mary's, as we believe this will provide our football players with an even better football program and experience. More details about the football program are to come in the future. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Liam Kirwan at firstname.lastname@example.org
