Introduction
I'm excited to be teaching my 8th year of Junior High Science at Sacred Heart. I'm looking forward to introducing my students to some new science concepts. This year the 8th grade will be studying physical science, the 7th grade will be studying life science and the 6th grade will be studying Earth and space science. More importantly, I will use these curricular concepts to teach the students how to think and behave like scientists and engineers.
Prior to becoming a teacher, I worked as an environmental scientist in both consulting and industry, so I know from first hand experience what it takes to be a scientist. I'm excited to share my experience and passion with my students.
