The SHS School Board mission statement, as written by the Board in 2004, is "To provide an exemplary Catholic, faith-based and competitive education within a close-knit, loving community." We feel it is important to share this because it gives one a sense of what is at the forefront of each school board member's mind at every board meeting and during every deliberation as we assist Sr. Kathleen and Fr. Bob in leading Sacred Heart School.

In the spring of 2009, the board reorganized to bring a more strategic, long term focus to its future. The revised or new committee are as follows:

Development: To increase funding beyond NiteLites.

Marketing and Enrollment: To improve recruitment and retention.

Academic Excellence: To identify, measure and track key indicators of academic performance.

Parent Community and Communication: To continually refine each year's parent survey to better reflect our needs.

Parish Outreach: To improve communication and involvement between the school and broader parish community.
